Who? Huh?
Full Boats Ahead? Don’t you mean Full Speed Ahead? Or Full Steam Ahead? Full Boats Ahead came from a conversation in college when your humble author butchered the saying in a conversation. The phrase then became a favorite among friends and we’ve keep using it to this day. Basically, it means positive mental attitude.
Who are we?
We use the royal “we” for this blog, but only one person can be blamed for the content, Peter Axtman (@PeterAxtman).
Currently, I’m a master’s candidate at small school called NYU, nestled away in the tiny hamlet of New York, N.Y. I also work in the industry, but will keep that to myself.
A few things I believe:
- Everyone should own and ride a bike.
- Neil Young’s “Cortez the Killer” is the greatest song ever recorded.
- I’ll never have the time to consume all the media that I’d like to.
- Conventional wisdom should be outlawed.
- The only thing better in life than a day baseball game on a work day is skipping work and being at the game.
- America can be found in Montana.
- The Losties were in fact alive on the Island.
- It has taken me over 7 years, but at some point I will have a definitive all-time top 5 favorite songs list finalized.
- Helvetica should be the default font for everything.
